About Us

My photo
I am a home based business mom of 2 beautiful girls. I truly enjoy the flexibility and income it provides and am consistently challenged by the personal growth excelling in this business requires. The person i'm becoming through growing a business but also being a mom is the most amazing gift i can give to my kids and my husband. my children are learning to believe in themselves, dream, have confidence, gratitude, abundance, giving, serving, healthy communication, and solid family values not just through a bedtime book or words, but through my actions. Children will always do what we do not what we say!

Happy New Year!

It was a great year in the Bond household!

Grace Catherine Bond was born on Jan. 11th 2008 and she has lit up our year ever since! It's more surprising at how fast a year goes by. I can remember like it was yesterday the first week of her life thinking "a year is going to take forever!" 3 hour feedings and an early arrival will do that to you! But we have managed to have a wonderful year and Grace is changing every day. Right now, it's her laugh that makes us go crazy- she is such a happy vibrant little girl! I can only imagine what it's going to be like when she starts talking and walking. she can stand alone very easily now. So it's just a matter of time before she takes that first step.

Here's looking forward to an awesome 2009!

Testing the Waters! Grace is definitely learning her boundaries! I'm wondering if it's because she's gotten 2 bottom teeth in! Every time she goes for something questionable, I get the look like "are you going to let me have this." As for now, many changes in store. As she begins to stand firmly on her 2 feet, I can feel the chases only days away looking back at me like it's a game to her! I guess this is the beginning of the days when you begin to think "I can't wait until you grow up to have your own kids" All is well in the Bond household as Miss Sassy continues to test the waters or in this case, balance!

Hoo Hoo! I'm an Owl!

Well, I've been out of a computer for a week now and I have to say it was tragic! Ok, that may be a a little extreme, but really, what did we do before computers? We were so out of touch with everyone! And probably a lot less busy! :) We have also been spun to the other side- the other side of the computer world, that is, and purchased a MAC. I guess the commercials finally got to us or the guy at Best Buy is really great at what he does!
Not to mention, I was sick over the weekend catching what Grace got at Mother's Day Out. She got a fever on Friday night, but was able to kick it before the night was through. I, however, woke up Sunday morning miserable. I didn't stay awake for long as a slept pretty much 'till Tuesday. The Grandma's were to the rescue! Grams (my mom) had Sunday duty, while Honey (Richard's mom) took over till Tuesday. I would not know what to do had I not had them here.  I did kill 2 birds with one stone and got caught up on my rest to say the least.
So, here we are, back healthy, happy, and online. This pic is a Halloween pic, but I wanted to post it anyways. Let's just say it's Grace's "Fall" attire!
Looking forward to Turkey Day soon.

Krazy in the Kitch! Click play!

A little Mommy Time!

Well, we get a lot of mommy time! But we are changing so much on a daily basis that I try and capture as many moments as I can!

A little Daddy Time!

Grace and Daddy loved feeding the ducks one Saturday afternoon and even managed to stop and pose for a few clicks of camera!

I need to get a blog? huh?

Well, I've officially convinced myself that we need a blog. Grace is now 10 months old and I THINK I've finally gotten back to a different definition of normal. But as with all things in life, the only thing constant is change and this "blogging thing" is definitely change. So bear with me- it may not always be perfect, may not always be up to date, but it seems to be the best way of communicating the daily joys, struggles, and events of our life as we know it now. Because of course, there will always be something new!!
